• The Wi-Fi connection powers communication with the AI, the camera module, and image processing, all of which require stable, high-quality power. For this reason, we strongly recommend using 1.5 V rechargeable lithium AAA batteries (1200 mWh or higher). Higher-capacity batteries provide a more stable voltage output, longer runtime, and better overall performance. As a reference, battery life depends on the battery’s capacity. For example, XTAR 1.5 V 1620 mWh rechargeable lithium AAA batteries provide approximately 3 hours of use, while 1300 mWh batteries provide around 2.5 hours, and 1200 mWh batteries around 2 hours. (Repeatedly turning the device on and off can greatly reduce battery life.)

  Standard alkaline batteries, depleted batteries, or low-capacity batteries may power the device only briefly or fail under load. They can cause shutdowns, flickering, camera errors, instability, or prevent the device from turning on altogether. Alkaline batteries tend to discharge quickly and experience faster voltage drops, which can result in short runtime or unstable performance. In addition, alkaline batteries naturally lose charge over time, even before first use.
