Smart Connectivity and Cloud Text Storage

• Built-in Wi-Fi connection. We recommend using a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, preferably an Android device, as many iPhones can cause hotspot Wi-Fi connection errors. On most iPhones, these hotspot disconnections can be resolved by keeping some activity on the phone, such as Google Maps, and keeping the screen on.
• Works independently without other devices
• Text storage for 2-line display: Online files uploaded to the web: Text files with LaTeX support. Up to 350 KB each, approximately 358,400 characters. Unlimited files; up to 10 active documents can be displayed. Offline files: Storage of .txt files on the device for faster access, featuring keyword search.

Built-in battery version with USB-C cable charging (5V-1A) (AVAILABLE VERSION)

• In this version, battery life is: Normal calculator mode: up to 16.5 hours of continuous use; WiFi mode: up to 5 hours of continuous use.

AAA rechargeable battery version (VERSION NOT AVAILABLE)

• In this version, rechargeable batteries (not included) Recommended: 2 x AAA 1.5V and 1620 mWh

• The Wi-Fi connection powers communication with the AI, the camera module, and image processing, all of which require stable, high-quality power. For this reason, we strongly recommend using 1.5 V rechargeable lithium AAA batteries (1200 mWh or higher). Higher-capacity batteries provide a more stable voltage output, longer runtime, and better overall performance. As a reference, battery life depends on the battery’s capacity. For example, XTAR 1.5 V 1620 mWh rechargeable lithium AAA batteries provide approximately 3 hours of use, while 1300 mWh batteries provide around 2.5 hours, and 1200 mWh batteries around 2 hours. (Repeatedly turning the device on and off can greatly reduce battery life.)

Standard alkaline batteries, depleted batteries, or low-capacity batteries may power the device only briefly or fail under load. They can cause shutdowns, flickering, camera errors, instability, or prevent the device from turning on altogether. Alkaline batteries tend to discharge quickly and experience faster voltage drops, which can result in short runtime or unstable performance. In addition, alkaline batteries naturally lose charge over time, even before first use.

The device is high quality, but if errors occur, in most cases we can say they are caused by power-related issues or by not having followed the steps in the manual. That is why it is very important to know the recommended battery type, make sure it is fully charged before use, and follow the steps and recommendations in the manual.
